CalendarStar™ can be accessed and managed from any location with just an internet browser (like Internet Explorer^®). This application can be easily added to your website with a single line of code and one small file (both supplied by Star-Tech). From that point on, Star-Tech supplies everything but your event information -- that's up to you.

You'll like the "Members Only" facility that's built right into CalendarStar™. For details that should only be seen by members, you can put them into the "Members Only Comments." These restricted comments can only be seen by members with a valid Login ID. You can even designate an entire event as "Members Only" and completely hide it from public view. It’s as easy as checking a single box.

To see all of the details about an event, just click on its title. Everything you want to know will be displayed in a way that’s easy to read. You'll see start and end times, location, how to get more information (with options for a contact name, phone number, e-mail address and website). You can even put in an unlimited amount of text which supports HTML (if you’re into that).

Setting up recurring events is a snap with CalendarStar™. Even a pattern as complex as Thanksgiving Day (which is the fourth Thursday in November) comes out right every time.

Holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries are good examples of "categories" for events that you might schedule. You'll never miss a birthday or an anniversary again! You can define any number categories to fit your needs. A feature that makes categorized events easier to identify and find is your ability to pick a color for each category.

CalendarStar™ runs as a single page on your website. The application software is kept on our server. All product enhancements are automatically available on the day they’re released to CalendarStar subscribers at no additional charge.

With five different levels of security, CalendarStar™ makes it easy to manage access to your events:


Public Viewer	No Login ID is required to see public information. This includes the public details you provide.
Calendar Member	Can see "Private Function" and "Members Only" events, including "Members Only Comments." This level can read all of the details but can't make changes or add events to the grid.
Calendar Editor	Can add events. Calendar Editors can change and delete only events that they have added.
Calendar Administrator	Can change and delete events posted by all other Calendar Editors. This level can also add, change and delete Calendar Event Categories.
Domain Administrator	Has the same rights as a Calendar Administrator plus the authority to add, change and delete calendar users and assign their security levels.

These different security levels let you share the responsibility of maintaining your calendar, while allowing you to retain control over the process. Only you (and the users you authorize) will be able to change your event records.
